NOTICE REGARDING THE NO SURPRISES ACT
In compliance with the "No Surprises Act" that went into effect on January 1, 2022, all healthcare providers are required to notify patients of their Federal rights and protection against "surprise billing". This requires that we notify you of your protected rights to receive a notification when services are rendered by an "out of network provider" (for example, receiving service and not using insurance). Additionally, we will be complying with the requirement to provide you with a "Good Faith Estimate" and notice as a part of your intake process. Please don't hesitate to ask for clarification or if you have any questions about this federal requirement.
PROCESS THE PRESENT THROUGH EXAMINATION OF YOUR PAST
COUNSELING
Starting therapy for anxiety, grief, or burnout can feel like a big step, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. If you’ve been feeling stuck, weighed down by stress, or disconnected from yourself, therapy can help you untangle what’s going on and find a clearer path forward.
I take a down-to-earth, strengths-based approach, using my background in evidence-based techniques like CBT and DBT, combined with my experience in more humanistic approaches that are firmly rooted in feminist theory and multicultural theory. That means we’ll look at the patterns shaping your life, figure out what’s working (and what’s not), and develop practical, real-life strategies to help you move forward with more confidence and clarity.
Therapy is a space for honest conversations, self-discovery, and real growth—no judgment, no assumptions, and no one-size-fits-all solutions. Just a place to process, reflect, and build the tools you need to feel more like yourself again.

What to Expect in Our Work Together
✔ A collaborative process. You’re the expert on your own life—I’m here to guide, challenge, and support you.
✔ A safe and judgment-free space. Whether you're navigating grief, anxiety, burnout, or major life transitions, we’ll work through it together at your pace.
✔ Practical strategies, not just talk. Therapy isn’t just about processing feelings—it’s also about learning tools that help you feel better in everyday life.
✔ A mix of deep work and lightness. This process can be challenging, but that doesn’t mean it has to feel heavy all the time. I believe in balancing depth with warmth, humor, and real connection.
Who I Work With
I provide individual counseling for adults in New York and Massachusetts who are looking for clarity, support, and meaningful change. Some of the most common challenges my clients face include:
-
Anxiety & Overwhelm – Struggling with racing thoughts, self-doubt, or feeling like you’re constantly on edge.
-
Grief & Loss – Navigating the weight of losing someone or grieving the life you thought you’d have.
-
Burnout & Life Transitions – Adjusting to major life changes, feeling stuck, or searching for a sense of purpose.
-
Relationships & Boundaries – Finding healthier ways to connect, communicate, and advocate for yourself.
-
Parenting & Family Dynamics – Managing the emotional load of parenthood or healing from past family wounds.
If you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s next, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
